Terms and Conditions
Please ensure you read the following terms and agreements, this applys to any of the services used by bigcheese design consultancy, this does is not limited to Web design and/or hosting.
Section 1 appendix 1
When using our services you agree to section 1 appendix 1 which means you have read and fully understand all of the terms and conditions applied throughout the agreement and thereof.
Section 1 appendix 2
Failure to comply with all rules and services may incur minor setbacks, for example, Websites with hosting may loose email facilities for a short interim.
Section 1 appendix 3
Webhosting charges are made annually and must be paid within 14 days of invoice, preferably via cheque. Failure to do so may result in downtime of services. Usually a second bill is presented, if a second bill is sent, an administration charge may be incurred.
Section 1 appendix 4
If you are not receiving any emails and you know you have paid your bill, we can fix this issue for you, usually it means your inbox is full, there are 2 things which can happen, you can either follow Section 3 appendix 2 or we can raise your inbox limit or remove some emails to obtain more space but a charge may be incurred.
Section 2 appendix 1
All visitors using our Website and viewing as a guest, have limited priviledges, you have the ability to post testimonials and this allows you to create content for the live site, should you post spam or any kind of unsolicited content, you could then be banned from the Website and as such, be unable to view our services and solutions until we lift the ban.
Section 2 appendix 2
We take it very serious where spam is conserned, we are group up with a multi-organisation which has been working for years to counteract spam and expunge as much as possible.
Section 2 appendix 3
When we refer to 'you', we refer to the IP (internet protocol) address, which is generally unique to a home family or a company building, this IP address is provided once you have access to the internet.
Section 2 appendix 4
With out Websites, our customers wish to have as much uptime as possible, we guaruntee a 99% uptime scale and while we do our best to keep to this track, there may be occasions where we are unable to do so, as a result, there are softwares in places which prevent people accessing your email accounts or ftp accounts on the server by using a brute force protection module, this blocks failed logins and if persistant with failed logins, you will then be banned.
Section 2 appendix 5
This service is in place to protect your personal documents, if you are locked out of your account, you must notify us immediately so we can advise you on the course of action to take next, if you get your self banned, there will incur an administration fee to lift your ban.
Section 2 appendix 6
From time to time, our server may undergo maintenance, this is due to the every day to day increasing attacks on worldwide servers, this may include but not limited to, mySQL database crashes, HTTPD crashes, FTP crashes, Email crashes and DNS server floods. Each of these services are used by our customers so we update these services to keep attacks and risks to a minimal.
Section 2 appendix 7
If your domain is suffering from attacks, we will endeavour to ensure services are never halted and running smoothly with no interuptions. If we find we can not do so after spending a maximum of 2 hours trying to resolve the problems, then we will have no choice but to terminate the domain in question until we have obtained further information.
Section 2 appendix 8
If your account is found sending out spam, we will issue a warning, if we get no response of any sort, we may terminate the account in question, we are not required to give you notice if but not limited to your domain is causing interuptions on our servers, causing downtime on our servers, sending out mass amounts of spam email or affecting any other persons account within our server.
Section 2 appendix 9
While we support the use for blackberrys, please always ensure that your username and password is correct, your blackberry tries to keep a constant connection between your phone and the mailserver, this is seen as logging-in, if you keep logging-in with false information, you will then be blocked and possible banned and this could incur and admin fee to correct.
Section 3 appendix 1
When pointing your domain to our servers, please point them to the following name servers.

This will then allow your domain to use any selective services on our servers.
Section 3 appendix 2
When accessing your email services, please ensure that you use POP3 and SMTP, we do NOT allow IMAP capabilities. This service is too slow. When trying to setup your email address, when a reference made to your 'username', 'account', 'user id' or something to the similar context, the value of the field should be 'username@domain.tld'.
